Continuity
Continuity editing is making sure everything flows from scene to scene realistically for example if a character has a red top in one scene, the top should still be red in the next scene and not changed colour or be and entirely different shirt swell as other aspects such as hair style and even the position of the character changes and sometimes even the character changes ! These are examples of bad continuity editing.
Good continuity editing would make sure everything flows well chronologically as well as most elements of mise-en-scene staying the same an example of good continuity editing would be that the colours of clothes stay the same as well as hair styles and the characters position within the scene.
